Abdul Rasheed Halimi

Abdul Rasheed Halimi is a dedicated legal and administrative professional with a strong background in law, political science, and public administration. He graduated from Emam Abu Hanifa religious school in 2005 and later earned a Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science from Karachi University in Pakistan. His commitment to professional development is reflected in his completion of a five-month fellowship in administrative capacity building in India and a year-long course at a French language institute from 2022 to 2023. In 2024, the academic board of the French authority ENIC-NARIC France, following his successful completion of the examination concerning educational credentials, the board granted a recognition equivalent to Bac+6.

Mr. Halimi brings over a decade of experience in leadership and governance. From 2011 to 2013, he served as Director of Logistics and the UN Project at the Afghanistan Independent Election Commission. He then led anti-corruption efforts as the General Director of the Northern Region Anti-Corruption Bureau from 2015 to 2018. Most recently, between 2019 and 2021, he served as Director General of the Department of Criminal Investigation and Land Grabbing at the Attorney General's Office of Afghanistan.
