Mr. Noor Alam Hakimyar is currently leading the Afghan Diaspora Jirga. the CEO of Hevad Group of Companies. He has an MBA from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, the United Kingdom. He is an economic development professional with over two decades of experience. Furthermore, he brings with him many years of experience working in different sectors in the Afghanistan, the UK and Somalia. Under his leadership, organizations expanded their scope and reached new levels of growth. He served as the Chief Executive Officer for an investment climate facility organization and the Chief Operating Officer for a leading telecom company with over $700 million in investment. Mr. Noor is recognized by the Private Sector for the services he has done to the private sector, economic growth and jobs creation – mainly through working on a leading USAID funded economic growth program delivered by a US consultancy firm – DAI.
In addition to his career, Mr. Hakimyar loves to engage with like-minded people and organizations to have a lasting impact on people’s lives and improve their access to better education and business opportunities. He volunteers and has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Humanitarian Assistant Society (HAS) and a Member of the Board of Supervisors for a NKB. He also serves as the Chair of Hayat Foundation – a charity registered in England and Wales. He is currently leading the Afghan Diaspora Jirga, a leading platform of Afghan Diaspora Community oversees and within Afghanistan aiming to bring in positive changes and reforms through advocacy and civil activism.
