Mansour Alam

Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Mr. Mansour Alam has lived in the United Kingdom for over 25 years and is a prominent Afghan community leader. He serves as Chairman of Dostkhail Welfare and is an active member of the Afghan Diaspora Jirga.

His leadership has been instrumental in supporting the Dostkhail Thalassaemia Hospital in Nangarhar—the first hospital of its kind in Afghanistan—providing critical treatment and care to many children.

Humanitarian Work

During the COVID-19 pandemic, his organisation supported more than 1,000 families in Afghanistan and the United Kingdom by delivering food, clean water, and essential medications to those in need. Mr. Alam continues to support vulnerable Afghan communities in both the United Kingdom and Afghanistan through humanitarian and community-based initiatives.
