
Dr. Najiba Ziyayi Azizi
Dr. Najiba Ziyayi Azizi was born in Sar-e Pol Province, Afghanistan. After completing her primary and secondary education at Khadija Jozjani High School, she received a scholarship to study in Türkiye and graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Süleyman Demirel University.
She subsequently earned her master’s degree in the Department of History of Religions within the Graduate School of Social Sciences. She later received her doctoral degree from the Department of History of Religions in the field of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Ankara University.
In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Ziyayi Azizi has been actively involved in educational, cultural, and community activities among Afghan communities in Türkiye and the United Kingdom. She is the President of the Afghanistan–Türkiye Solidarity Association the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. She also works as an instructor of Uzbek, Persian, and Turkish languages.
Dr. Ziyayi Azizi is the host of Kahkashan (SamanYolu Dastory), an Uzbek-language radio and television program broadcast on Watan Radio Television, and a columnist for Bano Magazine. She is the author of numerous scholarly articles and publications in the fields of Islamic Studies, History of Religions, culture, and family rights.
Fluent in Persian, Uzbek, Turkish, and English, Dr. Azizi is also a member of the Afghan Diaspora Delegation (Jirga), contributing to initiatives that promote sustainable peace, development, and education in Afghanistan.
